Before the Scroll is being built by Marques Lilly Jr. as a personal-software project for a faith-focused mobile app. This landing page exists to gauge interest and offer a seat pre-order at $39.

What we collect

Email address when you join the waitlist or make a preorder. We store it on Supabase, US region.

Payment details are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number; we only receive a success token from Stripe.

Anonymous analytics (page views, button clicks). No cross-site tracking.

A supporter name, only if you type one. Checkout has an optional field for a name to show on the supporter wall. That wall is a public page: anything you put in that field is visible to anyone, and search engines can index it. Leave it blank and you are not listed anywhere. Put whatever you want in it, a first name, initials, a nickname. It does not have to be your legal name and we never publish your email.

Change your mind at any time. Email hello@beforethescroll.app and your name comes off the wall, no reason needed, and it does not affect what you bought.

What we don’t collect

No location, no contacts, no device IDs, no third-party cookies. If we ever change that, this page changes first.

Email frequency

We will send you a welcome email, a confirmation if you preorder, and one email the day the app opens up. That’s the plan. We hate marketing email as much as you do.

Your options

You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time. Email hello@beforethescroll.app and we will remove your records within 7 days.

Refunds

Seat pre-orders are refundable for 7 days, no questions asked. After 7 days they are locked in until the app ships, at which point you can request a refund any time before you redeem your access.

This page will be replaced by a formal legal version before the app launches publicly.
