What you’re buying

The $39 seat is a pre-order for Before the Scroll, a mobile app we are actively building. It is a single payment today. It entitles you to your first full year of access beginning the day the app ships, and it holds the $39 per year rate for as long as you keep your subscription active after that year. Half of every seat sold also sponsors a free seat for someone who cannot afford it.

Nothing recurring is charged today, and nothing recurring begins until the app has shipped and your first year has elapsed. We will not start a subscription for software you cannot yet use.

If you already bought lifetime

Lifetime seats sold before August 4, 2026 are honored in full, permanently. Every future version is included and you will never be asked to begin paying a subscription. Lifetime is simply no longer offered to new buyers. Nothing is withdrawn from anyone who already holds one.

Ship target

Android first, target window 2026. iOS pending Apple Family Controls entitlement approval. We will not promise a date we cannot keep.

If we don’t ship

If we have not shipped a working Android app within 18 months of your preorder, you can request a full refund.

Sponsor a Seat clause

Half of your $39 funds 1 free seat for someone who cannot afford it. We publish an anonymous count of seats sponsored.

Refunds

7-day no-questions refund window from the moment of preorder. After 7 days, refundable until you redeem access in the app.

Disputes

We would much rather hear from you than from a lawyer. Email hello@beforethescroll.app and we will fix it.
