You pick the apps that own your morning. When you tap one, Before the Scroll shows today’s verse, a short reflection, and a prayer prompt instead. There is no skip. After about ten minutes the gate releases and the apps unlock for the rest of the day. The next morning, the gate is back.
No. The point of the practice is that there is no emergency override that defeats it. Phone calls, alarms, messages, maps, and anything you have not personally blocked stay reachable. Only the apps you chose to block stay closed until the gate releases.

Android first, with the true hard block, because Android allows it on day one. iOS follows the moment Apple approves the screen-time entitlement, and until that approval iOS starts as a reminder-first version. I am saying that plainly here so nobody is surprised. Both use the platform’s native screen-time APIs, no VPN, no workaround that can be deleted.

No. Nothing recurring is charged today. The app does not exist yet, and I am not going to bill anyone monthly for software they cannot open. What you pay now is a single payment. The subscription only ever begins after the app is actually in your hands, and for seat holders that is a year away from launch day.
You keep it. Lifetime, exactly as promised, permanently, including every future version. Nothing is taken away and you will never be asked to start paying. Lifetime simply is not sold anymore, because a one-time seat priced under a single year of the launch plan undercharges for the thing I am asking people to rely on. If you bought one, you got the better end of that, and it is yours.
